Initiatives & Events

For over a decade now, we have participated in events and programs that enable outreach to our local community of students, researchers and science-entrepreneurs with the goal of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in biotech.

 

KNOCK OUTTM —A dynamic deal-sourcing event that brings together academic researchers and industry veterans in a virtual boxing match. Academics are transformed into one-time Contenders as they pitch their opportunities and duke it out through Q&A with veteran industry Heavyweights.

 

Sweet Pharma Day—An invitation-only life sciences event offering sixteen Canadian biotech CEOs a unique opportunity to interact with large international pharmaceutical companies and venture capital firms.

Internship Program

Since 2012, in an effort to train and diversify the next generation of science-entrepreneurs and-investors, AmorChem is proud to have been training and mentoring student interns from the Université de Montréal as they graduate from their bachelor’s degree in biopharmaceutical sciences.
