Inspired by the popular television show "Dragons' Den", AmorChem holds an annual KNOCK OUT™ Event. Researchers chosen to participate in the AmorChem KNOCK OUT Event fight it out in the ring against a panel of seasoned biotech executives for the chance of being granted an AmorChem financing of up to $500,000.

This year again, we invite you to submit your applications to be part of the 2016 KNOCK OUT final round, to be held June 2, in Montreal, as part of the second edition of the Lumira Capital-AmorChem Event.

Last year, the KNOCK OUT was held on June 4, 2015 during the first edition of the Lumira Capital-AmorChem Event. An enthusiastic full house was entertained by our host, Christopher Hall. Dr. Fackson Mwale, from the Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research and McGill University, emerged victorious from the battle, having successfully responded to the hits from Rick Lesniewski (GSK, Abbott), John Gillard (Merck, BioChem Pharma and Aegera Therapeutics), Aled Edwards (Structural Genomics Consortium, University of Toronto and Affinium) and Lloyd Segal (Persistence Capital Partners and Caprion).
